मुझे ख़ुशी होती हिन्दू मुसलमान के झगडे में..
जो यूँ होता..
हाँ, काश कि यूँ होता..
अयोध्या में..
काश कि यूँ होता..
बाबरी के नज़दीक ..
काश कि यूँ होता हर जगह..
काश कि इस बात पर झगड़ते दोनों..
मुसल्लम-ईमान कहते यहां मंदिर बनाओ..
और हिन्दू कहते कि मस्जिद..
काश कि यूँ होता..
काश कि यूँ होता, राम का त्याग अपनाते हिन्दू
काश कि यूँ होता, स. अ. व. की रहम दिखाते मुस्लिम
एक खिलौना पाने के लिए लड़ते बच्चे
एक खिलौना देने के लिए झगड़ते बच्चे
काश कि यूँ होता, हर घर में होते इस दूसरी श्रेणी के बच्चे

काश के यूँ हो जाए..


A Rough translation--
I would have been happy to witness Hindu Muslims fighting, if it would have been like this, yes..I wish it should have been like this, In Ayodhya, In the vicinity of Baabri, everywhere, if they would have fought like this, if Musallam-imaans(having perfect faith) would have asked to construct a temple over there, and the Hindus would have said to build a mosque. If it would have been like this, Hindus following Rama's sacrifice, Muslims following benevolence of 'saw'. I wish, it should have been like this... Kids fighting to grab a toy, and kids fighting to hand over a toy.. I wish it would have been like this, that in every family we have kids of the latter kind..
